A Fine & Very Rare Antique Leather Cigar Case Combination Vesta c.1840s.
It is embossed with a crown crest and reads “NE PLUS ULTRA ISSUED 26 JULY...” The Year is too rubbed to see. But it’s circa 1840. The quality of the leather and workmanship is quite incredible. It would’ve belonged to someone of status.
Condition is good. Some markings commensurate with age. No tears, fully functional and structurally sound.
