A Charming 18th Century Bilston Enamel Patch Box. These Boxes Were Popular Keepsakes Or Love Tokens, Often Carrying Sentimental Mottos And Symbolic Imagery.

This example shows two gold hearts which signify love and fidelity. The hearts are shown connected, symbolising unity between lovers and eternal affection.
