A WW1 Military Stereoview Of The Macabre Zeppelin Fall In Billericay Essex.

The photograph is of a field featuring a hollow resembling a spreadeagled man. The hollow, or dent, was made by a German airman who fell from the Schütte-Lanz L32 Zeppelin that was shot down at Great Burstead, near Billericay, by Frederick Sowrey RFC on 23 September 1916. The hollow measured six inches deep.

Condition is good, commensurate with age. Structurally sound. Good clear imagery.

Measures 18cm x 9cm

Weighs 22.04 grams
