A Vintage/Antique Treen Foetal Stethoscope In Excellent Condition. This Instrument Allowed Direct Auscultation Of The Foetal Heartbeat.
These designs were common from 1876, when they were introduced, through much of the 20th century. Based on its smooth, polished wood finish and traditional shape, this particular example may date to the early to mid-20th century.
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound.
