A Rare Antique 18th Century Blackthorn Swordstick. A Quite Incredible Item Which Appears To Have Been Made With A Blackthorn Outer Walking Cane Shell With Blacksmith Made Tip. Hidden Within Is A Hand Forged Blacksmith Made Sword With Cruciform Blade, Which Still Retains Very Faintly Some Of Its Decorative Engravings And Armourers/Blacksmith Marks. This Has Significant Age.

Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound and holds the hidden sword securely. There are some age related splits down the sides of the blackthorn outer shell, but these are still held securely in place by the blacksmith made details at the top and bottom of the stick. The sword itself has some areas of rust, but overall is very good.
