A Superb And Rare Antique Make-Do Drinking Glass. The Glass Itself Dates To The 18th Century And At Some Stage During The 18th Or 19th Century It Has Lost Its Foot. But Quite Charmingly, Someone Has Repaired It By Fashioning One Out Of Turned Wood And It Worked A Treat!

Clearly Someone’s Favourite Glass That They Simply Refused To Give Up On!

Make-dos Like These Which Have Been Creatively Repaired During The Period Rather Than Discarded Are Gaining In Popularity As A Collecting Field.

Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound.
