A Rare Find! A Military Leather Cigar Case Belonging To William Francis Of The Norfolk Regiment 2805. He Has Personalised It To Show All Of His Postings From 1891 - 1904. It Shows Service In India And Even Appears To Show A Posting To The Tower Of London In 1894.
His Records Show William Francis was promoted to Sergeant in 1897, to Colour Sergeant in 1901 and finally to Acting Sergeant Major in 1910. It also shows he completed a total of 23 years service!! I Can Provide A Full Electronic Copy Of His Entire Service, From 1891 to 1914.
Condition Is Good For It’s Age And What It Would’ve Survived! Some Chunks Out Of The Leather On The Outside Of The Case And Some Small Areas Of Staining, Again To The Outside Of The Case.
