An Utterly Charming Antique American Folk Art Treen Money Box, Dating To The Early 20th Century.
It Has Been Crafted To Resemble A Fire Station, With Hand-Painted Brick Motif And Whimsical Faux Windows. Made Entirely Of Wood, It Features A Central Knob, Resembling A Firehouse Alarm, That, When Turned, Releases A Latch Behind The Arched Front Door, Allowing Access To The Coins Inside.
There Is Some Faint Wording Scratched Into The Top By The Maker Which Reads “Fire Works”.
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound and functions well.
