A charming late 19th century west country cider cup or mug with folk art stippled initials, ‘MA’.
The colour of these cups was supposed to enhance or disguise the colour or clarity of the cider. They are usually referenced to the Somerset area, but they were made all across the South West of England.
A charming little piece!
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound with no chips or cracks.
