A Handsome Antique 19th Century Rectangular Decorative Wooden Panel. The Central Motif Features A Stylised Wild Cat’s Face Emerging From A Swirling Pattern Of Acanthus Leaves And Tendrils. The Cat Has A Fierce, Expressive Face With Prominent Eyes, A Wide Nose, And A Detailed, Textured Mane That Blends Into The Surrounding Ornamentation. The Snout Is Slightly More Worn Or Lighter In Tone, Possibly Due To Age Or Touch Over Time. It Has Two Hooks To Rings To The Rear Ready For Hanging On The Wall.
