A Rare World War 2 French Resistance Scratch Built Communication Radio Receiver and Microphone with Ear Piece. Discovered In The Cellar Of An Old Chateau In Brittany, France. Creatively Made From An Old Marcella Cigar Box With A Bell And An Old Tannoy Mic.

Resistance groups were active throughout German-occupied France and made important contributions to the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944. Members of the Resistance provided the Allies with intelligence on German defences and carried out acts of sabotage to disrupt the German war effort.

Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound. All pieces appear to be there.
