An Unusual Carved Treen Folk Art Beaker. Heavily Decorated With The Bust Of A Lady Inside What Looks Like A Heart, There Are Flowers And Various Other Patterns.
It’s A Charming Piece. It’s A Difficult Piece To Place Or Date, But At A Guess, I’d Say Possibly South Seas Islands Made And Dating From Late 19th To Early 20th Century. Could It Be A Form Of Love Token…?
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound. A small imperfection to the base, but this appears to be natural and part of the wood used.
