The Big Announcement!

Hello again!  Welcome to this week's instalment of 'Blog Post Monday'.

As some of you will know, I've been sat on some rather exciting news this week and it's taken every ounce of my strength not to leak any details.  I thought I'd save the big reveal for today's blog post.

So, as always, get that kettle on and have some clean underwear close to hand, as I reveal to you possibly the greatest news that, quite frankly, there could ever be... Well, if you're a fan of Source Vintage Antiques that is...

I've been biding my time and waiting for the right opportunity to come up, and I'm pleased to say it finally has!  I frequently get asked where I sell from.  There seems to be a craving for some Source Vintage physical action to go along side my online presence...  I've listened, I've looked and I've taken action...!

So, I'm pleased to announce that you can now get your dose of Source Vintage physical action from an antiques centre near you...  Well, if you live in Yorkshire, that is...

Nestled in the heart of York, just a stone's throw from our beloved York Minster and painted bright red, you'll find THE finest antiques centre in York, 'The Red House'.  With its oldy worldy charm and THE friendliest staff in York, my little bits have slipped in quite nicely.

Now, let me give you some directions upon entry, so that you can head straight to the Source Vintage treasures.  Through the front door, you'll need to take your first left, so that you're facing the sales desk.

From the sales desk, you'll need to hang a right so that you're facing the rear of the shop.  Take a slow walk towards the back of the shop and you'll see a bank of smaller glass cabinets to your left hand side.

Turn left and approach this bank of cabinets.  You'll see little ol' me second in on the right hand side.

The ever so special signage for my cabinet is arriving this Thursday, so you won't miss it, trust me...!  And, to start you all off, if you show any of the lovely staff that you follow me on Instagram (@sourcevintageantiques) you will automatically receive a 10% discount in store.  Blimmin' marvelllous!

I will of course do a live video tour once my new sign is in place and I'll give you a run through of exactly how buying from my cabinet is going to work, including (hopefully) a little introduction to some of the staff here.

So, next time you're in York and looking for antiques, if no one else can help, and if you can find me....maybe you can buy from 'Source Vintage Antiques'.

So, there you have it.  Onwards and upwards.  I hope my announcement wasn't too click-batey and that you'll be as excited as I am about it all.  As always, let me know what you think in the comments section below, but most importantly, get yourselves over to the Red House for a look!  And, just remember, I'm here to do deals, so don't be frightened!

Remember, if you enjoy my posts, please show your support by subscribing to my 'Source Social' membership, which you can do via the 'Home' page.  It's free and gives you a weekly blog post and a fortnightly YouTube video delivered directly to your inbox, as well as exclusive discounts and first dibs on new items before they are added to our website.

And, speaking of my YouTube channel, if you're into antiques and haven't seen any of my videos yet, you can find them HERE.  Head on over and subscribe to that too for your dose of finds, fairs, stories and reviews.

So, until next week, stay safe, keep buying those antiques and keep spreading that Source Vintage love!
